Lemur Bay

Lemur Bay features the world’s very first "Talking Avatars" in a server-based environment chat room. Not only do the avatars speak when you type, but UWC has the capability of utilizing 22 different languages.  Users from all over the world can create their own avatar and speak without any latency.  For example, a user on the site in Kelowna, BC, Canada can speak with someone on the site from the Philippines without experiencing any latency.   The Lemur Bay web site is constantly being upgraded to include exciting new games and special events. Lemur Bay recently integrated into Facebook and is the only virtual world of its kind inside the Facebook gaming community.

New Media Campus

In the past, in order to become a 3D animator or a web design specialist you had to have the financial backing to afford the training required for a career in this industry.  The gaming industry is still one of the fastest growing industries to date.

UWC Entertainment Ltd. in conjunction with New Media Campus has implemented digital media courses such as 3D Animation/Game design, Multimedia Professional Studies and 2D Animation.  Most schools specializing in these programs currently charge anywhere from $14,000 per year right up to $35,000 per year.  We are very pleased to announce that no longer do you have to have a strong financial position to start a career in this industry. These programs will be available online at a cost that will be affordable for any budget:

• 3D Animation/Games Design - Full certificate course $3,000. Available now.
• Multimedia Professional Studies - Full certificate course $2,500.  Available now.
• 2D Animation – Full certificate course $2,500.  Starting in the Spring of 2010.

Students can have the option to pay as you go.  This means for as little as $30.00 a month a student can afford to start a career in this industry no matter what budget they may have.

The programs offered are full certificate programs complete with technical support.  New Media Campus over the last nine years of operations, have been providing talent for production companies worldwide.  Electronic Arts and Rockstar are just two examples of companies that are employing New Media Campus graduates.

Quantum GDS

UWC has just released the Quantum GDS, another first for our company. The Quantum GDS version 1.0 is designed for the novice game developer. This GDS will give the new developer an opportunity to develop a platform game in a very short time frame simply because you do not have to write code. You can create your own custom game with you own graphics and sounds and the GDS will generate the code for you. You can share your game with friends or place it on the web for all to see.
